Ahhh I'm emo-ing T_T Coz I now, finally, after months and years?? after reading the Death Note Manga, can't accept the fact that L Lawliet died. T_T I don't know. I just watched the new movie, L Change The World. Kenichi is so cute, as always, as L.
When I was reading the manga, I was cheering on Kira coz it's much funner to cheer on the bad guy XD and then the movie comes, and I was really in love with L. The third movie was.... Ok, as a random movie I give it 4/5 stars. As a death note movie, it's 3/5. XD As any random movie, it's really good and the plot is awesome awesome. Although I can't catch some of the humour, the climax was really awesome.
As a death note movie, that's another thing. Because Death Note has a very high reputation and this movie just don't cut it so well. There should at LEAST be some death note scenes and we manga readers can really applause to that. But this movie is totally a different thing [as it said in the title, death note spin off] with just L in it. It was VERY lame to have A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y and Z. In the manga, there was only L! But then, the director really didn't make it lame and it was so-so. Everything was unpredictable and I love movies like that. Death Note scenes are just cut off after the intro, that is why it didn't cut to be a death note movie.
But still, I'd say the movie is worth watching and it'll get you somehow glued to your chair. I dropped a few tears at the end, and it REALLY gives the feeling that L left us. I really just cried because we all love L and L was a great identity and he left me just like that T_T The movie really gives a slice of life of someone that would sacrifice anything for the world, and he sacrificed the things that are most cherished in his life. Himself, his life, Watari [his only "family member"]. I really felt that L truely exists and stuff.
